I should be studying right now, but I find this to be much more cathartic.
My name is Katy, and I am currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy student. My life is consumed by it, along with my part-time job. Little time is left for anything else, but I'm okay with that. I figure that when I finish my degree in 2 years, there will be plenty of time for a social life. Well, at least before I start working on my PhD, but that's beside the point.
I wanted to start a blog as a kind of journal, both for myself and others. I plan on documenting everything from recipes, to life events, to my progress in weight loss (27.5 pounds lost since last fall as of this weekend!). Why not share it with others, who may find it interesting or even inspirational?
I'll start by explaining my blog title. There are times when I just want to give up on the things I am doing, be it school, trying to lose weight, or whatever else. I have to remind myself how it will be worth it in the end; that all the hard work and time sacrificed to get to that point will put me in a place where I am both happy and successful. They are journeys worth fulfilling.
I look forward to using this as a tool for me to vent, remember, and reinforce.
